Located in Garfield County, Utah, this mountain range is very remote. Surrounded by desert this isolated range of mountains is home to one of the largest free-roaming herds of Bison in the U.S. GPS coordinates for this repeater are:<\/strong><\/span>

Mt. Ellen (Henry Mtn) Repeater<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

This repeater site is located in Garfield County, Utah on Mt. Ellen. This repeater consists of a VHF repeater with a UHF link repeater.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This repeater site is our most remote site. Power is supplied by solar power with a bank of batteries. At over 11,400 feet, trips to this site are few do to the distance and lateness of snow melt and the extremely dangerous trail to the site which should be by Helicopter if there is snow on the mountain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The antenna is located at the top of the now shortened tower\u00a0 when the top half of the tower failed and tipped over due to ice loading.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This repeater covers areas around the Henry Mountain range of Southeastern Utah including Capitol Reef National Park, Hanksville, Hite, Boulder, Escalante, and Bullfrog.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
