Lost a good friend of mine from my time on Amateur Radio
Recently. Sorry to hear of the passing of George “Buck” Miner, K6RFE Who since the age of about 16 was blind but still lived an independent, full life. He was good up till recently with self taught guitar and even hand wrote upwards of 500 tunes, including the one he managed to get to record on vinyl, “CQ BOOGIE”.

He lived to the age of 99 and even managed to get his extra class amateur license at age 95 by studying a set of cassette tapes created by me that had all the Questions and all the answers on them which he studied for several months and succeeded at the test session with flying colors.
Rest In Peace My Friend, and know that many in the Ham Community are Thinking of You.
