This repeater site is located on the western border of Carbon and Emery Counties on what is the highest peak on the Castle Valley Ridge in the Manti La-Sal National Forest.
This site consists of a VHF repeater, a UHF and VoIP link to Bruin Point, and a 1.25 m (220 MHz) repeater for the link to Point of the Mountain.
The antennas are located along the top half of a 30’ tower.
The VHF repeater covers the town of Scofield, UT and the area known as Soldier Summit along US Highway 6. It also covers Price, UT, east towards Sunnyside, UT. and south along Huntington Canyon over to Scab Valley divide south of Millers Flat Reservoir. The 1.25 m (220 MHz) repeater covers US 89 in Northern Sanpete County to almost US 6 and is a RF link to the Lake Mountain 147.080 Repeater.
